Hi, I recently started a bloghosting platform (based on wordpress MU) and when I stumbled your blog I paid attention to your theme (looking good) so I was wondering can you tell me is it custom made theme or one of those free ones? thanks in advance! regards, blogiskewl

Frankly, I believe that free speech is free speech but when you have some folks telling lies and trying trick people then this is another story all together. The FTC have a job to do. Let them do it. We on the other hand just have to be honest and forthcoming.

They can’t force us to tell everything but its up to you to do make public what you want your site visitors to know.
Most of our sites are liked to sites that pay us a small referral free. I don’t see anything wrong with this. I feel as long as it has the word “advertising” on it we should be good.

Just be truthful as possible and don’t hype things up.

Recently, there has been a good deal of inquiries by the
American FTC against blogs and website owners
for not stating advertising profits, or potential
relationships with ad networks.

What are your ideas about how this could potentially effect
the blog community?
